Taylor Swift breaks records in Arlington, Texas

Were you one of the lucky ones this past weekend for The Eras Tour in Arlington? Best believe I was. I won’t spoil the setlist but I may spoil some of her costume changes.

I have never been able to see Taylor Swift before this weekend, and she really pulled out all the stops. Her endurance must be through the roof because this show was just over 3 hours long and filled with hits from every era, of course.

However, her first album, Taylor Swift, and her third album, Speak Now, were put on the back burner in the set list.

If you didn’t know Taylor Swift does surprise songs each night and they’re different each show. The surprise songs did touch on Speak Now and Taylor Swift.

Missing some of her songs from those eras didn’t deter fans from screaming at the top of their lungs and adding in the “inside jokes” during some of her songs. Taylor Swift was interactive and it looked like she was having a great time.

The other thing I’d like to bring attention to is the set design. The design was whimsical, shimmering, and absolutely blew my mind. The stage had so many parts that moved and shifted… how does she remember it all? The lover house, the folklore and evermore set, the integrated pieces moving… it was something built in your dreams.

And… if you didn’t know Taylor Swift broke records at AT&T stadium. She became the first artist to play 3 consecutive sold out shows at AT&T stadium. This comes after her breaking the attendance record for a female artist in the U.S. This record was previously held by Madonna in the 80’s.

What song are you looking to hear at The Eras Tour? Swift said she’s taking requests ;)

Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the night. Check out the gallery in the “featured” section! This features photos from an obstructed side view section and a floor seat! Don’t be worried about your seats, you get a great view no matter what!
