Fit For A King in Dallas
In case you weren’t at the show, Fit For A King ended their first US tour of 2023 in their hometown of Dallas, and played one of the very last shows ever at Amplified Live. The show was full of energy and even ended with a lightsaber battle. If you missed out on V.I.P. they played some throwback songs for their fans including Hollow King, Ancient Waters, and Slave To Nothing.
Fit For A King released The Hell We Create in October of last year and embarked on a headliner for that album in February. FFAK hit the road in the US immediately after a support tour in Europe for The Amity Affliction.
The Hell We Create is the 7th album FFAK has released and there seems to be no stopping them. This album was well received and peaked at number 3 on US Christian albums, and number 12 among the US Top Hard Rock Albums on Billboard. Prior to this album, their original drummer Jared departed from the band to play full time for Koe Wetzel. During this transition FFAK enlisted the help of Trey Celaya, and he became an official member of the band. This is his first album with FFAK.
Northlane was supporting FFAK on this tour and they were incredible. It was nice to finally see them after having to cancel their 2022 tour due to visa issues. Since 2019 we’ve been awaiting their return to the US.
Fit For A King will tour the U.S. again soon… at the end of the show they let it slip that they will be playing The Factory on another headliner later this year…
